About Us

Alex is a business-builder and buyside M&A specialist with extensive experience in business and real estate acquisitions, with over $20 million dollars in closed transactions to date.

Prior to starting Sun Story Partners, Alex graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2013 with a degree in Economics and started a career in business development that led to being hired as the second US employee and Manager of Corporate Development at Tilly, a tech-enabled Autism care provider. In this role, Alex built the Client Admissions department prior to establishing the Corporate Development team that executed the M&A growth strategy that enabled Tilly Therapy to become one of the fastest-growing healthcare companies in the US.

After leaving Tilly, Alex went on to found Acrewell Land Company, a land-focused real estate acquisitions company with operations across the southeastern US. In his role at Acrewell, Alex built a team of real estate acquisitions professionals that has since completed several hundred successful land transactions across 12 US states. At Acrewell, Alex oversees all key departments within the company including Operations, Marketing, and Finance, which enables him to advise clients on the operational aspects of potential acquisitions targets.

In his role at Sun Story Partners, Alex works directly with clients to lead acquisition search engagements through a proprietary market research and data collection process along with bespoke marketing and proven owner outreach systems to generate off-market deals within our clients’ investment criteria.
